Dobby DesignScope victor Dobby represents the 4th generation of EAT systems and has been completely developed in one Thinktank by the same development staff and in close cooperation with the customers over the last years. Today, the software is available for 32 Bit systems and for 64 Bit systems fully exploiting the multi-processor technology available. The DesignScope victor concept is a completely modular system and has been newly and individually programmed from line 1 of the code. It therefore represents the latest programming standards while more than 25 years of experience in providing CAD/CAM solutions for the Weaving industry speak for itself. A special focus lies on the flexibility in the programming process. That has significantly reduced production times while keeping implementing high quality standards. The visible dialogues within the software are created by textiles designers. The software for this dialogue design has also been developed by EAT. Whatever you want to design… Dobby design development and processing calls for numerous interlinkable functionalities due to the dobby weaving machine combinations. EAT has focused heavily on these functions and modules directly related to dobby design using weaving technology background. Weaving technology background refers to different pixel ratios due to various warp/weft proportions (fabric qualities), colored warp and weft sequences, draw-ins, reeds, selvedges, peg plans etc. All displays of fabric appearance are free of interference and can be displayed in red/white or immediately (by one-click) in colored mode taking into account the colored warp/weft sequences. 3D Textile Map Take an image, a structure or any visual file and combine it with the 3D models. A must-have for all designers. The Art of Fabric – Textile Map in a 3-dimensional environment with true light effects. Dobby Design and Production This is the main module of DesignScope victor Dobby. Many drawing tools are available for developing and editing the design. One highlight is the elaborate possibilities for the editing of weaves. The icon-based user menu with tooltips and explanations for all functions allows for a short learning curve for all functions. All tools may be combined in various sequences appropriate for each specific task or procedure. A complete design can be saved with all the details for draw-in, reed, warp and weft sequences with yarn colors, peg plan, fabric appearance etc. in just one file. The individual single parameters may also be saved separately.
