DesignScope® victor Dobby

Design Scope® victor Dobby is a complex Software-Program-Module to create all types of Dobby woven products. This new Software-Module has the great advantage of individually connecting the Warp- and Weft-Sequences with the Peg-Plan, Draw-In or Reed in Red & White or in the colors of the Warp- and Weft Sequence.

This procedure allows the user to combine also existing Warp- and Weft-Sequences with new Peg-Plan, Draw-In or Reed setups. Jacquard designs previously created only for Jacquard-Machines can now be imported into the Dobby program and automatically analyzed for a possible Dobby setup and converted into a matching or closely matching Dobby layout.

These very specific new software procedures are protected by European and US patents (EU Patent Nr. 0719880 und US Patent Nr. 5,791,381). The very user-friendly Icon-based Tool-Menu provides the user with an efficient and speedy work environment.

No matter if the user is working within the actual Dobby Weave, Warp- or Weft-Sequence (Red & White or in the colors of the Warp- and weft-sequence), Peg-Plan, Draw-In or Reed setups, the user will always find specifically adjusted Icon-Menues to ease the design process.

The same principles as described for the Program Module can be applied to the Shaft-Setup or Draw-In which can be created or changed by manually drawing it out or by numerically setting it up (the user can create up to 4 groupings of brackets).
