DesignBase victor

DesignBase victor is an Image/Archive Multiuser Database Software-System by EAT. All features and their functions have been individually tailored towards their use in the textile industry.

With minimum access times there are always two different sizes of display (thumbnails) available for any kind of file (design or machine file). In addition, they are shown by means of the new interference-free display (TrueColor and/or Indexcolor up to 64,000 color codes). The miniatures (Thumbnails) and the original design file are always stored separately.
For user access protection three different client levels are available: Client Partner (Browse/Read/Write/View) - Client Viewer (Browse/View) - Client User (DesignScope® victor). All functions can be configured individually by the user - and access with different rights can be granted and controlled for single clients or groups.
DesignBase victor can be fully integrated into DesignScope® victor. Then also all parameter information all the way to complete Running Chains can be controlled in the database. In addition, storing and loading files can be done directly from DesignScope® victor.
The size of the database is determined by the size of the hard disk and operating system available. In general the database size is infinite, though. DesignBase victor is based on MySQL. Access to the database over the Internet is possible via VPN (Virtual Private Network). System requirement is Windows 2000 Server or Windows 2003 Server.
