Running Chain

The principle of the Running Chain was generated by EAT's Think-Tank and was incorporated into the first concept stages of the software. It is an absolute highlight and impressively shows the technical advancement of DesignScope® victor. The Running Chain is a function chain of single modules within the Jacquard processing. It is automatically generated during the editing process of a design. The created chain of working steps is saved with all parameters and additional files such as weaves, selvedges, binding points, etc., relevant to that particular design. The original file chosen for designing is also included in the Chain. The Running Chain is a file format that administrates all information under one file name. Although many input and output images may be included in that file, the file size as a whole is generally small. This highly efficient file compression method was also developed in EAT's Think-Tank. A saved Running Chain may be opened, edited and extended; at any time and at any point in the process. New or modified designs of the same quality may be dragged and dropped onto an open Running Chain: The same working process used for the original design is automatically used for this new one, all the way from the original design all the way to the final result. Running Chain data may be exchanged worldwide via eMail if desired.

Content and processes of each Running Chain can be exported as a Microsoft Word file. The user then has a complete printed design history and documentation available to them. Administration of Running Chain data can also be done in DesignBase archive or DesignBase LoomNet.
