DesignScope® victor represents the 3rd generation of EAT systems and has been completely developed in one Thinktank by the same development staff and in close cooperation with the customers over the last 8 years. DesignScope® victor was initially presented to the public at ITMA in Paris in 1999 as a concept study. The DesignScope® victor concept has been developed as a completely modular system and has been newly and individually programmed from line 1 of the code. It therefore represents the newest programming standards.

A special focus has been put on the flexibility in the programming process. That has significantly reduced production times while keeping implementing high quality standards. The visible dialogues within the software are created by textiles designers. The software for this dialogue design has also been developed by EAT.

Many software modules display the input design, the functional dialogue and the design output at the same time. The advantage is that any working step can be controlled with regard to its effect in real time. Traditionally the software is very user-friendly due to the use of EAT's own icons. They highlight the software as an easy and quick--to-learn environment.

The whole software today contains 1,230 different icons in 411 dialogue-planes. 120 different modules may be combined almost at random, depending on our customers' requirements and desires. By today the whole software program is sized at 120 MB. Within 4 to 5 years EAT has therefore created a software volume that can only be generated by a private enterprise with the necessary financial ressources.
